Accommodation in Phalaborwa area

At Normann Safari Bush Lodge we offer accommodation in 6 twin rooms with private bathroom and a family unit with 2 twin rooms and sharing bathroom. Around the rooms there is a little garden surrounding our tempting blue swimming pool. In our so called “Boma” (fenced area with a fireplace) we serve most of our meals. Especially at sunset and in the evening, the sounds of the bush and the sight of the beautiful South African stars can be enjoyed in our Sundowner pit. In our reception we have a small curio shop, a tiny library, coffee and tea facilities and an ice cube machine. Outside the reception there are lounge areas, dart board and parking. With only 8 twin rooms, we are a small and charming bush lodge providing a family orientated yet tranquil atmosphere. A wonderful highlight of the experience by your stay with us, is being able to enjoy the bush right on your doorstep when a variety of birds, antelopes and warthogs can be seen coming for a drink at the waterhole situated just beyond the garden.

Our motto is “Africa – for all” and refers to our accommodating for everyone; babies, youth, adults, elderly as well as disabled people are welcome as the lodge has ramps and walking paths, most rooms are without steps to the doors and there are showers in all of our rooms.

Furthermore Normann Safari offers accommodation in a vacation house fully equipped for self-catering and with own swimming pool, heated Jacuzzi, playground with swing and sand pit and parking. The vacation house is situated next to the lodge.

There is also a toilet and hand basin off the bedroom.

Our family unit consisting of two twin rooms separated by a gangway with fridge and access to 1 bathroom with shower and toilet, to be shared by the two bedrooms, which each are with own glass sliding doors, a window, mosquito net and air conditioning. View to pool, garden and the fish pond outside Warthog.

A vacation house with parking, swing, sandpit, swimming pool, Jacuzzi and shower outdoors. Inside the house is a main bedroom with King size bed, toilet + bathtub en suite, a small room with a foldable couch, only suitable for max 2 smaller children (not teenagers), a bath room with shower, a conversation kitchen and sitting room, a mezzanine with twin beds. Totally it sleeps 4 adults and 2 small children. Zebra House is a unit on self-catering basis, and is equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, stove and oven, air condition, mosquito nets, safety box.

In addition a chalet (Waterbuck) next doors can sleep 2 persons – it is furnished with twin beds, a shower and a kitchenette.
